To start, we would work with you to understand the workloads that will be moving to Microsoft 365.

This is where most of the work begins. We will perform a thorough discovery and iteratively examine your workloads to understand every detail of the data that needs to be migrated and define your goals for the destination tenant. Once the discovery is complete, we will present a project plan for your review and approval, outlining the next steps before we import your plan into our Project Management tool.
Every organization is different, so it’s crucial that we run an initial test to ensure that the migration connections are properly configured. This test will verify that the systems are communicating correctly and that the right data is being transferred.
This phase is the closest we can get to a real migration before the actual migration. During this stage, you’ll have the opportunity to see the potential impact on your end-users. We will collaborate to develop a change management plan tailored to your organization, ensuring effective communication about the changes and their impact.
During the staging phase, we will determine the migration approach that best suits your needs. This could be:
- Lift and Shift: Moving all data as-is to the new destination in one go.
- Phased Migration Clean-up: Gradually migrating data (while your team sorts out what stays and what goes) ensuring everything in your new tenant is perfect from the start.
- Location-Based Migration: Migrating data by specific locations if you have multiple sites.
The details of the chosen approach will be finalized and implemented during this stage.
Once the migration is complete, we will transfer the entire source domain to the destination and clean up the source environment so it can be decommissioned.
Additionally, we will provide post-migration support to your users to ensure a smooth transition.
Now that the project is wrapped up, we will conduct a knowledge transfer with your team.
This will include maintenance transferring items and workflows, illustrating how your users are set up and configured, along with instructions on how to use your new system!
