Customizing the appearance of your Microsoft tenant has not only aesthetic advantages, but also helps better secure your organization. In step 7 of our Golden Tenant: Microsoft 365 Setup Guide, we are covering Microsoft customization tools. These features display your organization’s logo on your organization’s sites and on login pages and prompts. Users are sure that they are logging into the correct site when they are greeted with a familiar logo. Personalize your work environment now and reap the benefits immediately.

Why Bother with Microsoft Customization Tools?

Investing in the appearance of your Microsoft suite is an important step in securing your organization. Configuring your Microsoft tenant to display your organization’s logo and colors is a great way to protect users against threats like OAUTH attacks and consent phishing. These scams imitate organization logins in order to gain users’ credentials. If your company’s login page sports unique colors and a distinct logo, it will be clear when a user is prompted to log into an unusual tenant.

Luckily, Microsoft makes it quick and simple to customize your suite with your organizations unique branding. All the settings are conveniently located in Entra. Below we’ve outlined the exact steps and requirements for taking your tenant’s appearance to the next level.
